Top 6 Features

  • Payroll πŸŽ‰ - Track staff compensation from one place. Set service and product commissions per staff member, and generate detailed payroll reports to manage what you owe your team. Currently in early access β€” message us if you’d like to try it! Available to everyone mid-March ✨

  • Booking with Packages - While patients are booking online, they'll now see a gentle prompt to purchase a package if one exists for their service. A great way to increase pre-paid bookings effortlessly.

  • Add-On Service Improvements β€” More control over add-ons. You can now mark services as add-on only (not bookable as standalone), set 0-minute durations for simple no-time-block upsells, and customize which add-ons are available with which services β€” so patients only see the right options for what they're booking.

  • Patient Health Forms β€” More Complete, Smoother Flow - Patients must add at least one health concern and answer questions before continuing. The form is now cleaner and easier to use, and you can still add custom questions. Patients may always abandon forms, but far fewer will.

  • Package Report - A dedicated report for all your packages. See which are active, past, or expired β€” with filters by patient and status.

  • Membership Report - A dedicated report for memberships, so you can track activity and usage patterns across your patient base.

Insurance

  • Claim Eligibility Verification - Verify patient insurance coverage directly within AcuBliss before submitting claims (or taking on a new patient) with Claim.md. Currently in early access β€” message us if you’d like to try it! Available to everyone mid-March ✨

  • Automatic Secondary Payer - When creating a new insurance claim, AcuBliss now automatically populates the primary and secondary payers based on the patient's insurance profiles on file. Fewer manual steps.

  • Claims Tag Enhancements β€” You can now filter claims by CPT code tag and set claim-level tags while posting ERA files β€” great for billing workflows

UI/UX Improvements

  • Redesigned New Patient Portal Entry - New patients arriving at your portal now see a cleaner, more welcoming experience. The old practice info page has been removed and replaced with a streamlined booking-first flow.

  • Improved Appointment Cancellation Flow - Cancelling an appointment is now a clear step-by-step process for staff. Cancellation reasons are presented as cards, and No Show only appears for same-day or past appointments.

  • Mini Calendar Navigation β€” Clicking a date on the mini calendar (from the appointment list or patient screening view) now jumps directly to that date on the calendar.

  • Patient Portal Dashboard - Patients now have a cleaner "dashboard" as their home page in the portal. The booking page is less cluttered, and buttons stay fixed at the bottom when completing forms.

  • iPad Improvements β€” Patient View β€” Form selections on iPad are now clean and tap-friendly, with no unwanted keyboard interruptions.

Noteworthy Additions

  • AI Scribe now streams audio as you record. Even if your connection drops mid-session, your recording is saved and uploads automatically once you’re back online. Consider doing a speed test in the room farthest away from your router 😊

  • 48-Hour Cancellation Policy Option - The cancellation policy settings now include a 48-hour window, giving practices more flexibility.

  • Extended Treatment Plan Weeks - Treatment plans are no longer capped at 14 weeks. Plans can now span as many weeks as your services require.

  • Duplicate Notes Keep Templates - SOAP note duplication just got smarter β€” the full template structure now copies over along with the content, keeping your notes consistent and complete.

  • Office Location Notes in Booking - Notes you add to office settings page of "Notes" now appear on the location selection card in the patient portal, helping patients know what to expect at each site.

  • SMS Opt-Out Visibility - When a patient has opted out of SMS, staff now see a clear notification explaining why the message wasn't delivered and what to do about it.

  • Package & Membership Sessions in Reports - Packages and memberships now break out individual sessions in service and payment summary reports, making compensation and payroll tracking more accurate.

  • Patient Login Assistance for Staff - When patients can't access the portal, staff now see clear, specific error messages and guided steps for password reset, verification, and registration issues.

  • Birthday Reminders Restored - Automated birthday reminders are back! They've been rebuilt for reliability and are ready to help you re-engage patients on their special day.
