We've been building. Here's what just shipped 📦 Patient Portal and booking flow improvements, a cleaner Dashboard, new Memberships capabilities, Telehealth upgrades, and a lot more.

Top Highlights

  • Patient Portal redesigned — a cleaner experience for your patients, from the booking flow all the way through to their forms. Less noise, smoother navigation.

  • Dashboard refresh — more intuitive, better organized. Your most important info right where you need it — including a new dedicated home for Packages & Memberships.

  • Memberships 2.0 — design memberships your way — whether that's service-specific packages, flexible session credits, or discount access for loyal patients.

  • Telehealth upgrades — joining a session is now smoother and more intuitive for patients, with a cleaner flow modeled on what Zoom does well.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is where your day starts. We made it significantly cleaner — easier to read, easier to act on.

  • Redesigned dashboard layout — reduced visual noise, better-organized cards, and tabs - cleaner navigation throughout.

  • Packages & Memberships now live on the Dashboard — accessible from a dedicated tab. If you had them in the left sidebar before, a notification in the app will guide you to the new location.

Patient Portal

The booking flow is often the first thing a new patient experiences with your practice. We put more work into making it feel smooth, clear, and easy from start to finish. Go through it yourself and see what they see.

  • Cleaner booking flow — removed visual noise and unnecessary elements so patients can focus on one thing: booking their appointment. The timezone display now only appears when selecting a time slot, where it actually matters. The banner and logo are hidden during date selection to keep the experience distraction-free.

  • Smarter feedback when selecting a time — previously, tapping a time slot gave no indication that anything had happened. Now there's a clear loading indicator so patients know their selection registered.

  • Clearer messaging for card on file and pre-payment — we rewrote the copy for every payment scenario. Whether your practice requires a card on file, requires pre-payment, or the patient already has a card saved, they now see a clear, accurate message that makes sense for their specific situation. No more generic text that doesn't apply to them.

  • Booking confirmation is now super obvious — after completing a booking, patients previously only saw a small notification at the bottom of the screen. Now it's prominent and impossible to miss.

💡 Quick tip: In a recent update we added banner photos and new background options to the Patient Portal. If you haven't added one yet, it takes about two minutes and makes your portal look significantly more polished and professional. Head into your "Patient portal" settings and hit the "customize" button to pick one that fits your practice.

Memberships & Packages

Memberships 2.0 — Now there are three ways to offer memberships — We redesigned how memberships work so you can offer whatever fits your practice best. You now have three modes to choose from:

  • Per-Service — the classic model you already know. Bundle specific services with a set number of sessions each month for a fixed fee. Nothing changed here.

  • Discount-Only(new) — patients pay a flat monthly fee in exchange for a percentage discount on every session they book. Simple, flexible, great for a loyalty tier.

  • Shared Visits(new) — patients get a pool of sessions usable across a group of eligible services. They decide how to spend them. Perfect for patients who want flexibility without committing to specific services upfront.

All three modes support product discounts and recurring monthly billing.

  • Cleaner UI in the appointment modal — memberships and packages now display as clean cards inside the appointment view. Easier to read, easier to apply.

Telehealth

  • Cleaner join experience — joining a telehealth visit is now clear, step-by-step, and intuitive for both provider and patient.

  • Auto-join for logged-in patients — once patients clear the camera/mic check, they're admitted to the session automatically.

  • Waiting room clarity — patients see clear messaging that they've arrived and are waiting for you.

Scheduling & Calendar

  • Appointment notes visible on hover — hover over any appointment on the calendar and immediately see any notes added by staff — without clicking in or scrolling. Quick reference right where you need it.

  • Filter out your own appointments on the Home page — practitioners can now remove themselves from the Home page view to focus on other providers' schedules.

Billing & Payments

  • More discount options — you now have more granular discount percentage choices — not limited to fixed 10/20/30% increments, we now do 5/10/15% options and you can always enter a custom dollar amount directly.

  • Stripe credit card UI updated — a cleaner, clearer card entry experience at checkout. Fewer missed fields, fewer errors for patients paying in person.

  • Stripe refund sync — if a payment was already refunded in Stripe, AcuBliss now detects this and automatically marks the payment as refunded on your end. No more double-effort.

  • Form structure duplication fixed — duplicating a chart template now correctly copies all attached forms, including custom ones added outside the base template.

Extras

  • Improved Tasks view — the Tasks section now has a cleaner layout with clearer status options at each step. Easier to work through your list and see exactly where things stand.

  • New User Onboarding ✨ — We completely revamped our setup wizard, so every practice you send our way gets a smoother, friendlier first experience. Your referrals are in good hands — and we're grateful for every single one 🙏

  • HandCraft Health Integration 🌿 — Drop-ship Chinese herbs directly to your patients without leaving AcuBliss. HandCraft Health makes this possible and we are huge fans of what they're doing. We expect to have this live within the next 6 weeks or so. Stay tuned.

  • AI-Powered Practice Intelligence ✨ — This is a big one we're genuinely excited about. We're building AI tools that surface meaningful trends and insights from your patient data over time. Think: a summary of a patient's health journey at a glance — symptoms, appointment patterns, how they've been responding to treatment over months and years. And on the practice side, we'll give you visibility into the health of your clinic — attendance trends, patient retention signals, scheduling patterns, and more. This is the kind of intelligence that used to require a practice manager with years of experience. We're going to put it at your fingertips.

  • Quick Booking (No Password Required) — We're rethinking the patient booking flow so first-time patients can book with just an email — no account creation, no password — and still receive confirmations and reminders. Faster bookings, fewer drop-offs.

  • Vacation Auto-Response for Messaging — Going out of town? Set an auto-response in your HIPAA-compliant messaging portal so patients aren't left waiting. Coming soon.

  • More Health Forms & Templates — We're expanding the library of forms available to you out of the box. More intake form options, more flexibility — less building from scratch.

  • Coupon Code Improvements — More flexibility in how you create and apply coupon codes. Better tools for promotions, packages, and patient offers. Coming improvements include flat-fee coupon options, better controls for how codes are created and applied, and a report showing usage — who used a code, how many times, and when.

  • Refund vs. Void — Clarified — We're redesigning this flow with a guided step-by-step experience so it's clear exactly what will happen before you confirm anything.

  • Google Analytics Integration — Connect your AcuBliss patient portal to Google Analytics to understand how patients find and interact with your booking page.

  • Booking Capacity Report — See how full your schedule actually is — by provider, by office, by date range. Useful for planning, hiring, and understanding your practice's capacity at a glance.
